Truth doesn't have an expiration date
Listen to this post AI-narrated
One of my favorite things about life is that the only thing that doesn’t expire is objective truth.
Smear campaigns expire.
Witchcraft expires.
Lies expire.
Slander expires.
Libel expires.
False narratives expire.
Manipulation expires.
Illusions expire.
They all have an expiration date.
But truth doesn’t.
Truth doesn’t need to be constantly maintained, rehearsed, manipulated, defended, or rewritten to remain true.
It can be buried.
It can be distorted.
It can be talked over.
It can be hidden beneath years of lies.
And it will still be exactly what it was before anyone lied about it.
True.
That is one of the greatest comforts I have in this life.
Truth doesn’t need your permission.
It doesn’t need your agreement.
And it doesn’t need your confession.
You can run from it.
Rewrite it.
Discredit the person telling it.
Convince an entire room of the opposite.
And I can still rest.
Because eventually, the lie runs out of places to hide.
I can always rely on the truth to prevail.
Truth doesn’t have an expiration date.
Everything standing between it and the light does.
